This document outlines the rules and regulations governing our inspection activities, including the liabilities of BVSPL and our clients, and provisions for the presence of observers, trainees, and accreditation board assessors.

Liabilities of BVSPL

  1. Compliance with Standards:
    • – BVSPL shall conduct all inspections in accordance with ISO 17020 and other relevant standards.
    • – We ensure that our inspection processes are transparent, objective, and free from any conflicts of interest.
  2. Accuracy and Reliability:
    • – BVSPL is responsible for providing accurate and reliable inspection reports based on thorough assessments.
    • – We employ qualified and competent personnel to carry out inspections.
  3. Confidentiality:
    • – BVSPL is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information obtained during inspections.
    • – We ensure that all personnel are aware of and adhere to our confidentiality policies.
  4. Impartiality:
    • – BVSPL shall conduct all inspections impartially, without any bias or influence from external parties.
    • – We have established procedures to identify and manage potential conflicts of interest.
  5. Liability for Errors:

Liabilities of Clients

  1. Provision of Information:
    • – Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information necessary for the inspection.

  2. Access to Facilities:
    • – Clients shall provide BVSPL with access to the facilities, equipment, and personnel required to conduct the inspection.
    • – Any restrictions or limitations must be communicated in advance.
  3. Compliance with Regulations:
    • – Clients are responsible for ensuring that their operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
    • – BVSPL’s inspection does not absolve the client from their legal responsibilities.
  4. Payment of Fees:
    • – Clients shall pay the agreed fees for the inspection services as per the terms and conditions outlined in the contract.
    • – Failure to pay may result in the suspension or termination of inspection services.
  5. Liability for Damages:
    • – Clients shall be liable for any damages caused to BVSPL personnel or equipment during the inspection due to negligence or non-compliance with safety regulations.
    • – Clients must ensure that their facilities are safe and comply with all relevant health and safety standards.

Presence of Observers, Trainees, and Assessors

  1. Observers:
    • – Observers may be present during inspections for the purpose of witnessing the inspection process.
    • – The presence of observers must be agreed upon by both BVSPL and the client in advance.
    • – Observers must adhere to all confidentiality and safety requirements.
  2. Trainees:
    • – Trainees may accompany BVSPL personnel during inspections as part of their training program.
    • – The presence of trainees will be communicated to the client in advance.
    • – Trainees will be supervised at all times and will adhere to all confidentiality and safety requirements.
  3. Accreditation Board Assessors:
    • – Accreditation board assessors may be present during inspections to evaluate BVSPL’s compliance with accreditation requirements.
    • – The presence of assessors will be communicated to the client in advance.
    • – Assessors will adhere to all confidentiality and safety requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

  1. Health and Safety:
    • – BVSPL and clients must comply with all relevant health and safety regulations during the inspection process.
    • – Any potential hazards must be communicated and mitigated to ensure the safety of all parties involved.
  2. Documentation:
