The Voluntary Fire Safety Inspection Scheme (an IFE–AHPI initiative) helps healthcare and other facilities strengthen their fire safety preparedness. The process begins with registration and document review, followed by an on-site inspection by certified fire safety experts. Key areas such as escape routes, fire detection systems, firefighting equipment, emergency signage, and staff readiness are assessed. A detailed report with risk analysis and recommendations is provided, and once compliance is achieved, a Voluntary Fire Safety Certificate is issued. This initiative goes beyond statutory requirements, building trust, safety, and confidence among patients, staff, and the community.
